Campbellsville University

Faith, Excellence, and Global Reach through the Windsor Education Center

Founded in 1906, Campbellsville University is a Christian institution committed to academic excellence and servant leadership. What began as Russell Creek Academy has grown into a comprehensive university offering over 100 programs, serving more than 12,000 students worldwide. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), Campbellsville provides associate, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees, with programs spanning fields such as business, education, health sciences, information technology, and theology.

The university’s main campus is located in Campbellsville, Kentucky, with regional centers across the state and instructional sites in Los Angeles and internationally in Windsor, Ontario. At its heart, Campbellsville University fosters personal growth, professional preparation, and global awareness—all in a caring, Christ-centered environment.

Campbellsville combines a liberal arts foundation with professional readiness. Students benefit from small class sizes, a low student-to-faculty ratio, and personalized attention that fosters academic success. Signature schools within the university include the Schools of Business, Education, Nursing, Music, and the recently established School of Chiropractic—one of the few of its kind in the region.

A key marker of Campbellsville’s rising academic profile is its growth in research and innovation. In 2021, the university received its first National Science Foundation research grant, supporting undergraduate biophysics research. Initiatives like CU RISE—a flexible, weekend-based degree program—further demonstrate Campbellsville’s commitment to meeting the needs of adult learners through innovation and affordability.

Campbellsville’s programs hold additional specialized accreditations, such as from the Council on Social Work Education and the International Accreditation Council for Business Education, underscoring the academic rigor and industry relevance of its offerings.

Global Vision

The Windsor Education Center

Campbellsville’s vision for accessible, faith-informed education extends beyond U.S. borders through its Windsor Education Center in Ontario, Canada. Located in the culturally rich city of Windsor, this center marks the university’s first international campus extension. The center offers the Master of Science in Information Technology Management (MSITM)—a two-year graduate program designed to prepare students for leadership in the tech industry.

The Windsor program mirrors the quality and accreditation standards of the main campus, offering a U.S.-recognized degree in a Canadian context. Faculty bring a balance of academic expertise and industry experience, while small class sizes promote personalized learning. The program equips students with skills in IT strategy, systems integration, and ethical leadership, making them competitive in North America’s growing tech markets.

The Windsor Center embodies Campbellsville’s commitment to global education, offering Canadian and international students a unique opportunity to earn a respected U.S. degree locally. It also reinforces the university’s global reach, cultural diversity, and emphasis on cross-border collaboration.
